Once you have booked your bed and breakfast accommodation in Dunedin, it is time to start deciding what you will do with your time in Dunedin. This will be a tough decision. There are a lot of options!

In my last post, we talked about the Otago Peninsula and the amazing natural sights and birds you can see there. This blog will give you some information about a few cultural activities in Dunedin!

Dunedin has a professional theatre company, the Southern-most theatre company  - the Fortune Theatre.

This theatre is just around the corner from Hulmes Court bed and breakfast – about a one minute walk! They regularly have well-reviewed and popular productions on. Well worth a visit.

Just down the street from the Fortune Theatre, is the Dunedin Art Gallery.

The Art Gallery always has a fantastic range of exhibitions on display, and does not charge an entrance fee.

Just out of the city centre, opposite the Otago University, is the Otago Museum.

This museum has some wonderful displays, and a spectacular 3 floor butterfly house where you can wander though a man-made rain-forest and see tropical butterflies and various other creatures. That tropical temperature is perfect for crisp Dunedin winter days!

Stay tuned for more suggestions on what to do in Dunedin!
