Bedrooms and Tariff

There are 14 bedrooms in two beautiful houses both on the original estate. Hulmes Court (with the large turret) is Victorian, Hulmes Too is Edwardian.  All the bedrooms are described below. 

Flower Room - Queen Size Bed & Single Bed - Harbour & Garden Views - Sunny and quiet. TV, Video and telephone. - Share bathroom facilities with one other room (Book). - Tariff - $105 NZD per night including breakfast. - Good sized desk.
Book Room - Queen Size Bed. - Sunny and quiet. TV, Video and telephone. - Share bathroom facilities with one other room (Flower Room).  Called the book room because Norman keeps a number of his books in here on the shelves.  Feel free to read them. - Tariff - $105 NZD per night including breakfast.
Turret Ensuite Room - King Size Bed. - Sunny and quiet. TV, Video and telephone. - Ensuite bath and shower facilities within the room. - Tariff - $135 NZD per night including breakfast. - Good sized desk from which you have a panoramic view of Mount Cargill, my gardens, school etc.
Persian Room - Queen Size Bed & Single Bed. - Very large room with fireplace. - Sunny and quiet. TV, Video and telephone. - Share bathroom facilities with one other room (Rose). - Tariff - $105 NZD per night including breakfast. - Often set up with a couch or desk.
African Ensuite Room - Queen bed. - View over gardens and to Mount Cargill. - Sunny and quiet. TV, Video and telephone. Good sized desk. - Ensuite bath/shower & toilet - Tariff - $135 NZD per night including breakfast.
Rose (Single Bed) Room  • Single bed. • Quiet. TV, Video and telephone.  Smaller study table. • Share bathroom facilities with one other room (Persian). • Tariff - $70 per night including breakfast. • View over one of my Rose gardens.
Art Deco En suite Room - Queen size bed. - Sunny and quiet. - Private sunny bathroom with views, bath, shower, and toilet. - Art Deco interior design. - TV, Video and telephone.  Smaller study table. - Tariff - $135.00 per night including breakfast.
Forest Ensuite Room • Queen size bed and single bed. • Looks out over fernery. • Private ensuite shower & toilet. • Darker forest theme interior design. • Private shower and toilet ensuite. • TV, Video and telephone.  Smaller study table. • Tariff - $135 NZD per night including breakfast.
Hulmes Too B&B (next door) Bedrooms - Hulmes Too is next door to Hulmes Court on the original estate. It is a very large Edwardian Home with nice decks and garden. There are six bedrooms. Four rooms have ensuites - The Chocolate Room @ $135 NZD per night and our best rooms the Ocean, Victorian & Garden Rooms (see photo below) @ $165 NZD per night. The Ocean Room   • King size bed in very large bedroom. • Sunny and quiet. • View over the city and harbour. • Ensuite; shower and toilet. • Telephone, TV and video. Good sized desk. • Tea and coffee making facilities • Tariff - $165 NZD per night including breakfast.   • King size bed • Sunny and quiet, view of the ocean and city. • Ensuite bathroom; shower and toilet • Telephone, TV and video. The Garden Room • King size bed • Sunny and quiet, view of the garden • Ensuite bathroom; massive spa bath for two, shower and toilet • Telephone, TV and video. Smaller table. • Tea and coffee making facilities • Tariff - $165 NZD per night including breakfast.
The Chocolate Room • Queen size bed and single bed.  Note, the single bed is in a room on its own inbetween the main bedroom and the ensuite bathroom. • A little darker than the other rooms. • Ensuite bathroom; spa bath with shower over, toilet. • Telephone, TV and video. • Tea and coffee making facilities • Tariff - $135 NZD per night including breakfast.
Balcony Room • Queen Size Bed. • Very sunny morning room with private balcony. • TV, Video and telephone.  Good size desk. • Share bathroom facilities with one other room (Aotearoa). • Tariff - $105 NZD per night including breakfast.
Aotearoa Room • Queen size bed and single bed. • Sunny afternoon room with view over garden and oak tree (provides shade in summer). • TV, Video and telephone. Good sized desk. • Share bathroom facilities with one other room (Balcony). • Tariff - $105 NZD per night including breakfast.
